How The Best Exclusive School in Makati Started
The Don Bosco Technical Institute in Makati, or simply Don Bosco Makati, is a private Catholic educational institution owned and operated by the Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB). Most of the campus is located on Chino Roces Avenue in Makati, Philippines. In January 1954, Padre Carlo Braga, SDB, laid the foundation stone of Don Bosco Makati as a province.
The first building was completed a year after the monastery, youth center, and the auditorium were completed. A group of Salesian priests led by Father Quaranta and Father Righetti, together with Brother Nicolin Tambascia, opened the Youth Center today. In January of the following year, classes began for children and adults. It ended in June of the following year.
Pupils in the 5th and 6th years can enroll for the first time this year. Thirty-six (36) of the inaugural classes of the 6th-grade graduates of the school are the first graduates of Don Bosco Makati.

Another reason why Homer thinks that Don Bosco is the best exclusive school in Makati is that it has instilled the value of entrepreneurialism early on. Students are encouraged to collect soda bottles from the school canteen to earn their “deposit”.
It was also pointed out that the library is a safe haven. A lot of the pupils rented comic books while waiting for their guardians to pick them up. Homer’s favorite finds are the Hardy Boys series and Nancy Drew.
Most importantly, Don Bosco is also a technical vocational school. General technology is part of the 7th and 8th curriculum where you can study curriculums such as electronics-electrical technology, automotive-mechanical technology, computer technology, and industrial drafting technology. Then in the 9th and 10th grades, students can choose 1 of 6 areas of specialization. The technical specialties available are:
