“Our win is irreversible.”

This is what Congresswoman Leni Robredo told her supporters today (May 15), after the Comelec was able to tally more than 99.51% of votes that have been transmitted nationwide. Only nine towns still need to transmit their CoCs, according to a Rappler report:

  1. Rizal, Laguna
  2. Allen, Northern Samar
  3. Catarman, Northern Samar
  4. Lope de Vega, Northern Samar,
  5. Binidayan, Lanao del Sur
  6. Masiu, Lanao del Sur
  7. Tamparan, Lanao del Sur
  8. Indanan, Sulu
  9. Bacungan, Zamboanga del Norte

According to Boyet Dy, Leni’s head of policy and a former aide of ex-DILG Secretary Jessie Robredo, their camp has been making their own projections since Tuesday evening based on the transparency servers and Comelec’s official count. He said that because Congw. Robredo was able to visit 87% of the country’s provinces, she touched base with more voters than all those who campaigned for all national positons during the 2016 elections. This has resulted in Robredo’s presumptive win in 10 regions versus Sen. Marcos’ only 7.
