Filipinos Lead Global Pet Nutrition Forum, Show PH Potential in Pet Food Innovation | Filipino scientists, veterinarians, animal nutritionists, researchers, and industry leaders gathered at the Global Pet Nutrition Forum 2026, showcasing the Philippines’ growing role in pet nutrition research, pet food manufacturing, and industry innovation.
The forum, held at Solaire Resort Entertainment City in Paranaque City, gathered around 300 participants from universities, research institutions, government agencies, and pet food companies, making it one of the largest gatherings in the country focused on companion animal nutrition and pet food development.
Organizers said the event demonstrated that Filipino professionals and researchers are capable of organizing a science-driven industry forum that brings together experts from different sectors to collaborate and share knowledge.
The forum discussed important topics such as pet food safety, nutrition research, functional ingredients, manufacturing technology and artificial intelligence in the pet industry.
Organizers hope that through continuous collaboration and research, the Philippines can become a hub for pet nutrition research and pet food innovation in Asia.
The Global Pet Nutrition Forum is expected to become an annual platform that connects Filipino scientists, industry leaders, and global experts to help develop the pet nutrition industry in the Philippines and the region.
