This award is the newest recognition of their dedication to maintaining learning consistency. Secretary Leonor Magtolis Briones said, “We will continue to strengthen this initiative while finding more channels that can transform education and make it available to all.”

The juries also praised DepEd TV Teacher-Broadcasters’ on- and off-camera efforts, praising their zeal, determination, and endurance in the face of the global health crisis.

Representatives from 11 nations, including the Philippines, expressed their views and perspectives on serving Catholic communications on television and online during the pandemic during the awarding ceremony.

On behalf of the Department, DepEd TV Lead Consultant Paolo Bediones accepted the award and gave a presentation to the conference about DepEd TV’s past, the journey of the Teacher Broadcasters, and the lessons created for the DepEd TV and DepEd Commons platforms.
