BravoFilipino | Unsung Heroes of Pasay: Supremus Cavaliers Eagles Club Leading with Heart and Service | Located in the bustling center of Metro Manila, Pasay City is a true gem among the Philippines’ urban landscapes, bursting with energy and cultural richness. Known as the “Travel City,” it boasts the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, which serves as a major gateway to the world, blending a fascinating mix of people, cultures, and commerce.
From the lively entertainment hubs like the Mall of Asia Complex and Newport City to its well-established residential neighborhoods, Pasay is a city bursting with energy, diversity, and resilience. It strikes a perfect balance between modern development and a strong community spirit, where residents genuinely care for one another and take pride in the city’s lasting character.
Amidst all the accomplishments and stunning locations in Metro Manila, we must remember the individuals who are finding it hard to survive. Pasay City has a lower poverty incidence compared to other cities, but there are still tens of thousands of residents who are struggling. In fact, when asked about their financial situation, more than half of families in recent surveys in Pasay City reported feeling poor. These are the people who would truly benefit from community service programs, donation drives, local food assistance, job creation efforts, and support for health and education.
Amid the struggles of poverty in Pasay City, a remarkable brotherhood emerges, committed to lifting communities through compassion and service: the Supremus Cavaliers Eagles Club. This proud member of the International Fraternal Order of Eagles (Philippine Eagles) is a shining example within the Metro Maynila South Region, serving as a beacon of hope and unity. As one of the original regions chartered in Metro Manila, the Supremus Cavaliers Eagles Club has made its mark as a catalyst for change, showing that real leadership is about serving others first.
