Baliwag City, Bulacan – April 2, 2025 | Baliuag University (BU) has formalized and renewed a partnership with CS Global Workplace, Inc. through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) aimed at bridging the gap between academia and industry. The signing ceremony took place at the historic Bahay na Bato on the university campus, signifying a commitment to enhance practical training and career opportunities for Information Technology and Computer Science students.
The agreement focuses on strengthening practicum and On-the-Job Training (OJT) opportunities for students, particularly from the College of Information Technology Education (CITE). This collaboration will provide BU students with real-world experience, equipping them with essential skills and knowledge for today’s competitive job market.
Key officials attended the ceremony, including Baliuag University President Dr. Patricia B. Lagunda, who emphasized the university’s commitment to relevant education. Joining her were Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Flordeliza A. Castro, CITE Dean Clarissa P. Vicente, and other university representatives.
On the CS Global side, Ms. Hazel Thea Dobles and Mr. Renzo Carlo Santiago represented the company, demonstrating their dedication to nurturing emerging talent and collaborating with educational institutions. The MOA outlines collaborative initiatives focusing on enhanced practicum/OJT opportunities, industry exposure, curriculum alignment, and knowledge sharing.

This partnership is a crucial step in BU’s mission to empower students with the necessary skills for success. Ms. Dobles highlighted CS Global’s commitment to investing in the future workforce, stating, “We are excited to partner with Baliuag University and provide students with practical, industry-relevant training.”
