The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) will be holding a Balik Scientist Program (BSP) Pre-Convention Forum which will highlight the accomplishment of each scientist.
DOST Secretary Fortunato T. de la Pena will lead the discussion along with other Scientists and Host Institutions under the program.
The event will also showcase accomplished Balik Scientists from the three sectoral councils of DOST namely the Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD), Philippine Council for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development (PCIEERD), and the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources Research and Development (PCAARD).
