Discovery Shores Boracay and Club Paradise Palawan designed a three-day, two-night island escapade for their travel industry partners in the exclusive island of Club Paradise Palawan. A scavenger hunt of sorts, the island getaway for the Top Producers revolved around an interactive puzzle game requiring the participants to do tasks and activities in the island for them to earn each of the puzzle pieces. A great way to highlight the many activities and unique features that Club Paradise has to offer, the puzzle game gave the guests the opportunity to experience first-hand the water activities, hiking and rope relay and other facilities.
The key event of the island getaway was the Filipino-themed thanksgiving dinner, aptly dubbed “Salamat” at the Firefish restaurant. Each of the Top Producers were awarded with a masterpiece by renowned Filipino visual artist Ferdinand Cacnio. Entitled “Discovery Resorts” the brass, resin and glass creation symbolized the natural treasures in the Discovery Resorts’ chosen locations with the tree branches on top and the corals underneath, sitting on a glass base which represents the crystal-clear waters of Boracay and Palawan. The colorful evening was filled with a sumptuous Filipino feast, a delightful set of dance performances, an impromptu rock-aoke session and most importantly an exchange of heartfelt “thank yous” from each of the attendees.
